Here's when to watch 40 new Hallmark Christmas movies this year

Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries will deliver 24/7 holiday cheer starting Friday, Oct. 20.

DENVER — Thanksgiving may be a month away, but we can all be thankful for 40 new Hallmark Christmas movies coming this holiday season.

"Hallmark Channel" and "Hallmark Movies & Mysteries" have revealed a schedule of brand-new Christmas movies for 2023.

Hallmark Channel will debut 31 new "Countdown to Christmas" originals and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries will debut nine new movies in their "Miracles of Christmas" lineup.

Faces familiar to Hallmark fans pop up throughout the Christmas schedule this year including legends Lacey Chabert and Luke Macfarlane.

New movies air every Friday, Saturday and Sunday on Hallmark, while Hallmark Movies & Mysteries debuts new flicks on Thursday nights.

Hallmark and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries begin their around-the-clock Christmas schedule on Friday, Oct. 20.

Under the Christmas Sky

  • Kat is an esteemed astrophysicist, who is scheduled for her first trip into space next year until an accident grounds her. While on leave, coming to terms with the reality that her dream of being an astronaut is over, she volunteers at the local planetarium. There, she is paired up with by-the-book David to work on an exhibit opening right before Christmas. Will the stars align to bring these two together at the holidays?

  • It's almost Christmas when busy realtor Abigail agrees to help her sister with the "simple flip" of a recently inherited home. Unfortunately, co-beneficiary Bo has other plans in mind.
